CRITICISM RESENTED
RUGBY UNION CHAIRMAN "GETTING SOMEWHAT TIRED" CONTROL OF N.Z. GAME (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON., last night. "From some of the criticism levelled at us, one would think we were paid servants," said Mr. S. S. Dean, chairman, at to-night's final meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union before the annual meeting of delegates. "We have heard rumblings before this," he raid, "but no matter what may happen at the annual meeting, 1 have no misgivings for the part 1 have taken in the "game for many years pasl. I am getting somewhat tired of the rotten criticism which has been levelled at the committee by a section of the press recently, and I do not know whether I shall'offer myself for re-election or not. '
