WAR PENSIONS REVIEW
MINISTER'S INTENTION NO ACTION THIS SESSION (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The. Minister of Defence, the Hon. F. Jones, states that he is hot sure that the Government will be, able to introduce any amendments to the war pensions legislation this session. He said He was fully aware of the anomalies that existed, and'wanted to get rid of them as soon as possible. Questioned regarding the War Pensions Board and the War Pensions Appeal Board, he said it was not intended to make any changes at present. "Then yon are not issuing any running shoes?" the. interviewer asked. "No; none has been ordered,'' the Minister replied smilingly. He indicated that the policy regarding defence was/ not yet determined, but it would receive consideration with a view lo popularising territorial camps.
