The report and balance sheet of the association, prepared for submission al the annual meeting, to be held in Ihe Borough Council Chambers on (April 6, was placed in the hands of the executive, in* draft form, for perusal. In connection with the annual meet iug, clubs were reminded that nomina lions for all executive officers must, be "■ Hi,- hands of the secretary at least seven days prior to the date of the general meeting, and it was decided 1" hold a further meeting of the executive on April 2 1 . to" receive the nominations. Prospects for the coming season were considered to be most, promising, delegates reporting that teams were being filled rapidly and that several new teams were being' formed, ft was mentioned that any girl desirous of a place, in a team should 'make application to the association's secretary, or to individual club secretaries. A report was received that Messrs. Woolworths, Limited, proposed to enlei a Stall team in the competitions, the executive giving its sanction to the registration of this team's colours. ITuia. dub's application for a change of registered colours and costume was granted. It was pointed out that Ibis year, foi the first time, the full effect of the change in the weekly half-day for shop assistants would be'fell, and that Ihe concentration of all club matches on Saturdays would necessitate an extension of the hard court facilities. A lengthy discussion took place on ways and means of providing the necessary extensions, and the executive hopes to have a definite scheme to place before the annual meeting.
