KEMPTHORNE PROSSER
DIVIDEND DECLARED
(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, last night. At a meeting of the directors of Kempthorite Prosser’s New Zealand Drug Company yesterday afternoon, a dividend of* 41* per cent was recommended, making 8 per cent for the year.
At the annual meeting of the company which will lie held in Dunedin shortly, a number of resolutions will be proposed on the recommendation of the directors altering the articles of association of the company following the coming into operation of the Companies Act, 1933. The main resolution is one empowering the directors to decline to register any transfer of shares or stock without being bound to give any reason for such refusal. A total of 24 articles are affected by the proposed alterations.
