TAXI DRIVER CHARGED
CAUSE Ob' TWO DEATHS
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, last night. At the Magistrate’s Court; to-day Owen Lester >Sievvvright .Tarrett, on a charge of negligent driving causing the death of Mrs. Lilian Ellen Lowery and Charles Wilderhall, was committed to the Supreme Court for trial, bail being fixed at £IOO. The charge arose out of a collision bdtween a taxi driven by Jnrrett and a car driven by Mrs. Lowery on January 18.
