TWO COMMISSIONERS
DECISION BY CABINET
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, hist night. Two officers, one the chief commissioner and the other an assistant commissioner, are to control the public service in New Zealand, the Prime Minister, the Hon. M. .1. Savage, said to-day, thus putting an end to rumours that t’ne Government intended to revert to control by three commis-
sioners. The Cabinet, added Mr. Savage, had not yet decided who the new commissioners would be.
