The Modern Kitchen
TIIK best and most logical order for the arrangement of essential kitchen equipment has, of course, long been settled, the arrangement oftuu recommended being, first the sink with draining boards and drying rack, then the china shelves or dresser, the larder or refrigerator, kitchen cabinet with extending table, stove or cooker, service trollev.
An arrangement which is almost equally good, especially in the narrower type of kitchen now becoming popular, is to have the cooker, sink and draining boards on one side, and the kitchen cabinet, larder and refrigerator on the other. Jt should only be necessary to pass once along the kitchen in the preparing and clearing away of each meal.
