EXPERT TO CONTINUE IMPROVED FACILITIES (Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Dr. CL H. Cunningham, who recently resigned his position in charge of the plant research station at Palmerston North, will'continue his services at the station, said the Minister in charge of the Scientific Research Department, the lion. D. CL .Sullivan, to-day. Mr. Sullivan said that the Government had been impressed with the increasing need for attention to scientific research in problems of the. protection of plants from disease, and in addition to improvements to facilities at the plant research station at Palmerston North, arrangements had been made for a continuance of Dr. Cunningham’s services.
