DOMINION CONFERENCE TARANAKI WELCOME (P«r Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH, last night. Dissatisfaction with tlie present monetary system .and confidence that a better system could bo evolved, marked the general tenor of speeches at the opening session of the annual conference of the New Zealand Douglas Social Credit movement at New Plymouth to-day. Tlie delegates were welcomed by the Mavor, Mr. F. R. Gilmour, Mr. S. G. Smith, M.P., and representatives of local bodies. Great enthusiasm was shown by delegates. The speakers included Captain H. M. Rushworth, M.P.. Mrs. Graham, Mr. A. C. Sexton. M.P., Mr. C. A. Barrett, M.P, and Mr. W. J. Jordan, M.P. In the next three days meetings will he held throughout North Taranaki.
