Smith and driven by William Anderson Barclay.
A pillion rider on 1 lie bicycle, Francis Beardsley, aged 18, of Lonsdale street, New Brighton, was badly injured and was admitted to hospital. White suffered severe, head injuries ami died within a few minutes of the accident.
