RIOTING IN BERLIN

NAZIS ATTACK JEWS

BERLIN, July 18. Anti-Semitic rioting continued after midnight.

Bands of young Nazis entered cafes in the fashionable Kurfurstendamm district, and tinned out those of Jewish appearance, sometimes hurling beer glasses at them. The rioters jeered at the police, whose numbers wore inadequate to maintain order. The sympathies of the crowd appeared to be against the rioters.
