The Circuit Court, appears to have held unconstitutional the processing and flour taxes imposed under the Agricultural Adjustment Act in a test caso brought by the receivers of the Hoosau Mills, who are suing for the recovery of £16,000.
Tho Justice Department's lawyers at Washington promised a prompt appeal to the Supreme Court. The collection of some £140,000,000 processing taxes hinges on the constitutionality of the measure.
