HARBOR BOARD VACANCY
BRIEF MEMBERSHIP .MR. W. T. VEITCH APPOINTED
Mr. W. T. Veltch was appointed by the Cook County Council to-day to fill a vacancy on the Gisborne Harbor Board caused by the resignation of Mr. G. M. Reynolds, whose appointment was gazetted on June 22 and whose resignation was announced by the Harbor Board
on July 3. At last month's meeting of the council, it was reported that a vacancy remained on the Harbor Board,, and it was decided to recommend Mr. Reynolds for appointment bvj the Minister of Internal Affairs.' This, was . duly done, but Mr. Reynolds did not.desir* the position, and resigned without .having taken a seat' at the board table.
