Last Night's Forecast. A depression of the westerly type extends from southern Australia across the Tasman on to southern New Zealand, pressure being fairly high in the more northern latitudes. Winds, westerly to north-westerly, mainly moderate at first, but gradually freshening. Seas. r:ither rough to rough south of Cape Fgmont; elsewhere smooth to moderate. In the eastern Tasman, moderate to strong north-west winds, sons moderate, but rising in the southern portion.
