Pattinson, chairman of directors of the Liverpool, London and Globe Insurance Company, Limited, at the annual meeting in Liverpool recently. ‘‘lnsurance has successfully weathered a world depression. JLI has maintaiiiod its stability- and solidity as well as or better than any other branch of private enterprise, and certainly better than most Governments.
