Lyttelton.—duly ]6; Arrivals, Ra.ngatire, 6.45 a.m., from Wellington; Holm glen, 9.40 a.m., from Timarti. A frost of 14.6 degrees whs ivgtsi at ltakauroa on Saturday morning. On Friday evening there was a' light fall of snow on some of the high country, and the Maungahamias were lightly coated down to 3500 ft. After a spell of fine, bright conditions, the weather broke again yesterday morning, and rain set in from tire north.
