Iu the Midland tennis championship, in the fiual, McGrath defeated Musgrove (South Africa,), B—6, 6—2, 6—3. In the doubles, Borotra and Gentian defeated " McGrath and Olfiff, 5 6—2, I—G, 6—3, "6—3. DAVIS CUP CONTEST PRAGUE, July 13. In the Davis Cup fmel of the Europeon zone, in the doubles, von Crannn and Lund beat Menzel aud Malacek, 6 9—7, 6—4.
