AUCKLAND POULTRY SHOW
GISBORNE SUCCESSES Further success has been achieved by Gisborne poultry breeders in an outside show. At the Auckland Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Club's show held on Saturday at the Auckland Winter Exhibition. Messrs. M. J‘. and E. T. Kippenbergor and V. Venables were successful entrants. Jn tlie standard fancy poultry section Mr. M. P. Kip pertberger gained a third with his black orpington cockerel and a first with his pullet. In the.game bantam section Mr. E. T. Kipponbergcr’s birds were well placed, securing four (lists and one second, ilc gained first awards ill the black-red cockerel, spangled hen, blue or red hen and cockerel classes and second in the piles pullet- class. With two birds entered in the light Sussex class, Mr. V. Venables secured a second with his cockerel and a third with his pnllol.
