STILL ALIVE
CAPTIVE MISSIONARIES (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Advice has been received by Mr Vivian, the local secretary of the China Inland Mission, that on June 17, Messrs Hayman and Bosshardt were still alive, though in the hands of’‘‘Reds’’ in the mountains of Sczeehwan. Though still cheerful they were in great need of clothes, theirs being, considerably worn out. As no ransom will bo given, it is still believed that the captives will eventually be set at liberty.
