MATAWHERO STOCK SALE SALE OF STORE SHEEP THE BEST THIS SEASON Although there were only small yardings of cattle and fat sheep at the (Matawhero stock sale, held -by the Poverty Bay Stockbrokers’ Association at the Matawhero saleyards today, the sale of store sheep is considered to he the best this season. For ordinary quality fat sheep prices showed no change Values were firm to advancing in the store sheep market, the bidding being particularly lively. The entry in the .beef section totalled 21. Good Hereford cows made £3 12s (id,-and with lesser finish £3; good Jersey cows, £1 os; Jersey vealers, 15s.
