NAPIER WOOL SALE
MONDAY’S OFFERING TOTAL OF 24,-264 BALES The third wool sale of the season to he, held at Napier on Monday has attracted a total of 24,264 bales, or nearly 2000 bales short of the. 26,000 bales allocation. Late shorn wools comprise the bulk of the offering, most carrying heavy condi*ion, with seed strongly in evidence in many from the high country. In addition,' there are a few early clips held out of the December and January sales. In the main, tlie quality and condition of the offering,is about up to the February average, the coarser type of wools from the back country predominating. A fair amount of lambs’ wool of mixed quality and type has been catalogued. .Tlie quantities to be offered by the various selling brokers in the order of sale are as follow:—> Bales.
