GUARDIAN TRUST
OPERATIONS IN GISBORNE
In this issue of the Herald a removal .notice advertises the change in offices of the Guardian Trust Company to Childers road. It is pleasing to record, when the general talk is of depression, that this "New Zealand company has made such steady progress as to warrant larger and more convenient premises. The Guardian Trust, and Firecutors Company of New Zealand. Limited, or '■The Guardian Trust." as it'has become so well known throughout the Dominion and abroad, was incorporated by special Act of Parliament as far back as 1883. To-day it occupies a premier position among the trust companies operating in New -Zealand, administering as it does assets of a value of more than £11,000,000. The. directors of the company are satisfied that its prospects in Gisborne and the surrounding districts are such that it can look forward with confidence to considerable extension of business in the future. Evidence has been accumulating that the company is giving a valuable service which is becoming more and more availed of by the community and legal profession, and it is considered that in the new premises it will be able to extend this service very appreciably,
