UNSEASONABLE WEATHER
DIPHTHERIA IN BRITAIN LONDON, Jan. 2. Diphtheria epidemics in areas throughout Britain, particularly in the northern towns, are attributed Largely to (lie prevalent damp and unseasonable weather. The present temperatures are nearly 15 degrees above normal. London lias had no frost for over a month, which is unprecedented in mid-winter.
