The Kaimai should leave. Dunedin next Tuesday, work Oainarii and Timaru on Wednesday, Lyttelton on Thursday, (hence, Wellington. The steamer is expected to arrive at Gisborne, via Napier, about Wednesday, .January 16. The New Zealand Shipping] Company's steamer Cambridge is expected to arrive at Gisborne from Auckland about Monday next to load frozen meat, wool and general cargo for United Kingdom ports. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Rangitata proceeds from Napier to Tokomuru Bay to load about Wednesday next,, taking frozen meat and wool for London.
The C. and D. Line motor shin Port Chalmers is now expected to finish her Gisborne loading to-morrow night, when she departs for Napier, New Plymouth and Wellington.
The Pakura is at present at Auckland being fitted out for the carrying of sheep. . She is expected to take her lirst- shipment from Hicks Bay for Tauranga towards tlie end of this week. The Pakura is to make further trips to the Coast for consignments of sheep for the Bay of Plenty port. Tlie Pukcko sails from Auckland today with cargo for Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier. She is to discharge here on Saturday and at the Hawke’s Bay port on Monday. Returning later to Auckland, the vessel loads again for the Coast. Gisborne and Napier. The Awaliou, which leaves Wellington to-day, will discharge cargo at Napier on Friday night and should arrive here on Satmilay to complete unloading. The vessel is expected toy lea r this port on Saturday night, for Lyttelton, where she will loail for Waikokopn, Gisborne and I lie. Coast.
The Margaret W leaves Auckland ibis afternoon for Tokomaru Bay, Tolaga Bay and Gisborne. On completion of discharge here on Saturday she loads general cargo for Auckland and sheep for Tauranga. The vessel arrives at Auckland on Monday to load again, for the Coast and Gisborne, clearing the northern port as usual on Tuesday night. The auxiliary scow Altair commenced the discharge of her shipment of motor spirit this morning. The scow should sail about midday to-morrow with empty drums for Auckland. A large cargo of New Zealand produce was dispatched from Auckland for London on Saturday by tlie Blue Star Lino steamer Sultan Star. In addition to many thousands of carcases of frozen meat, tlie vessel is taking 1189 quarters of chilled beef. Further quantities of chilled beef will he dispatched from Wellington by the Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor-ship Port Chalmers, now loading at Auckland, and also by the company’s motor-ships Port Alma and Port Gisborne, which will load in New Zealand during January.
