CALEDONIAN JUBILEE
GATHERING AT TIMARU
The diamond jubilee gathering of the South Canterbury Caledonian Society, held at Timaru on New Year’s Day, was •i great success, the attendance being upwards of 10,000. The presence of the Grenadier Guards Band was an outstanding attraction. The following New Zealand championships were decided Bagpipe Music.—Marches: J. _ Cameron "and G. Robertson. Reel o' Tullocli, under 16: Margaret McMillan, 1 ; Orma Ford. 2. Ghillie Callum, under 14: Maisie Wilson, 1; Norma Marshall, 2.
