N.Z. RHODES SCHOLARS
THREE IN ONE HOSPITAL
'Clove New Zealand Rhodes Scholars, Dr A. E. Porritt, Dr. AV. E. Henley and Dr. J. E. Lovelock, are on the staff of St.. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, London, and Dr. I. H. MacLcan, another New Zealander, is also on the staff of the hospital. Dr. Ala (’Lean, left New Zealand in 1914 and lost a leg in the war. He remained in .England and is now making a- round trip to New Zealand bv the. Akaroa, which arrived at Auckland from London on Sunday. The three Dominion Rhodes Scholars on the hospital staff are all noted athletes. Dr. Porritt was ft famous sprinter a few years ago, while Dr. Lovelock, as a mile runner, is probably the most brilliant, of all New Zealand athletes in recent years. Dr. Henley won liis Oxford Rugby blue in 1929, 1930 and 1931, and is an exceptionally fine forward.
