FURTHER PRICE INCREASE
The price of New Zealand butter on the London market has advanced a further Is per ewt. on quotations announced yesterday, but the demand is not so great at the advanced values. Cheese values have been maintained, but a weakening tendency lias developed. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following cable message from London, dated January 3: —“Rutter, New Zealand choicest salted, 76s to 775; the market is slow. Cheese. 47s ; the market is weaker.”
