GIANT SEAPLANE
TO CARRY 70 PERSONS
PARIS, Nov. 9. A giant seaplane, capable of carrying 70 persons and cruising a* a speed of more than 140 miles an hour, is shortly to be launched at Toulouse, and it is Hoped tfeat trials will have been successfully carried out by the end of the
year. France claims that this plane will be the largest of its kind in the world. According to the Excelsior it will be more than 100 ft. long, with a wing span of 160 ft. and a height of 28ft. There will be 12 luxurious cabins each with two bunks. * The craft will be employed on the French South Atlantic service.
