WARNING TO WOMEN
EVILS OF GREEDINESS
OVER-EATING CONDEMNED
LONDON, Dec. 19.
“Women’s continuous over-indulg-ence in eating is as harmful as overslimming’’ says Dr. Marshall, of Guy’s Hospital. “The old type of gross-feeding glutton has disappeared. The new type commonly pathetically reiterates that she cats nothing.
“It is not meal times that do the damage, but the inability to refrain from eating all day long, including coffee ,and cakes in the middle of the mbrning, a .snack at bedtime, and a box of sweets alongside when reading or sewing.
f'Such greediness produces real discomfort if an hour passes without food. ”
