REVELATIONS IN FRANCE
LONDON, Dec. 13,
M. Boully, a member of the Stavisky Inquiry Committee, which is investigating the corruption of the press, declares (says the Paris correspondent of the Times) that the chief influences are financial circles, advertising agencies, and the State itself—by secret Ministerial funds.
It is possible, he says, for a newspaper to receive money simultaneously from a gang of swindlers and from the Government, and he urges that there should be ap explanation in the Budget of secret funds or that these should cease.
