CYCLIST IN HOSPITAL
MISHAP DURING RACE
(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Lionel Radford, a prominent racing cyclist, met with an accident yesterday while competing in a three-mile race at the Little River annual sports, receiving head injuries. Radford was riding fast in the second lap, and, helped by a slight grade, was at top Bpeed when a Maori, Peter Taylor, stepped out on the track. An official pulled him back, but not quick enough, Radford knocking him down. Taylor received head injuries also. Radford was taken to hospital. kill '7 '
