These events coots, place over a course around au lmet or the lake and were all run on in good time. in tire one-lap race for outboard boats Mr bignati’s boat, Miss Betty, missed the course and nad ,tp oe eliminated from the race. Mr T. Han, in Ramona, was leading ‘by almost nan a lap in the Lhird lay of the live-nine speed caainpionship when his boat de-w-roped engine troubie and had to pun off me course on the far side of the inlet. Repairs were quickly made anu the craft took part in a further race later in the day.

Waikaremoana liogatta Club Challenge Cup Race, two miles, for launches of a maximum speed of id m.p.li. and under (3 entries). —Glencoe, owner T. 11 all, 1; Kotuku, owner J. Tapper, 2; fern glen, owner R. E. Neale, 3. One-lap Race, any outboard boat, for championship pennant and Cockerill Challenge Cup (3 entries). —Nymph, owner W. Cockerill, 1; Echo, owner L, R. Jones, 2. Speed Championship, 5 miles, open to inboard .boats only, Waiau Challenge •Cup (3 entries).— 1 “T.N.T.,” owner J. Gibbons, 1; Miss Napier, R. E. Neale, ’2.
