TOKOMARU BAY NEWS
(Herald Correspondent.) A happy function took place at the Presbyterian Church, Hautanoa, after tiie service on Sunday morning, when the minister, the Rev. E. Way, presented Mrs. W. L. King with a charming Christinas gift in recognition of her valuable services to the church as the organist at the Hautanoa services. Mr. and Mrs. K. Mac Kay, accompanied bv their daughters, the Misses May and Isabelle Mac Kay, Tokomaru Bay, have left on a fishing trip to Taupo. —Miss Francis Burdett, Palmerston North, was a visitor to Tokomaru Bay last week for the Burdett—Sherriff wedding. —Mrs, Norman Bennett, Gisborne, was the guest last week of Mrs.
D. Grant, Te Puia.—Miss K. Burdett, Palmerston North, has returned, south after spending a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. Burdett, to be present at her sister’s weddiugi.—Mr. and Mrs. H. Mclntyre, Puha, are spending Christmas and New Year with Captain and Mrs. Angus, liautanoa.—Mr. and Mrs. 0. W. Williams and their two children, of Patutahi, are staying in Tokomaru Bay for the holidays—Mrs. Jerram and Miss Jerram, of Penang, Malay Peninsula, are the guests'- of Mrs. C. Bowen, Tokoinaru Bay. Miss K. White, Tokomaru Bay, is spending the Christmas holidays in Rotorua.
