BRITISH EGG MARKET

(Received December 24, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 24. The egg market had a sharp setback as a result of mild open weather here, the Continent largely increasing production and Germany having placed an embargo on imports till January 1. As a result, there have been heavy arrivals of Danish, and prices of fifteens have fallen from 17s 6d to 12s per 120. The prospects appear to be unfavorable unless the weather turns cold.
