GISBORNE DEFENCE CLUB
DECEMBER HANDICAP
The final match of the December competition was shot by members of the Gisborne Defence Rifle Club on Thursday and Saturday, the first four places being allotted as under:— R. Bull 600yds. 39, 800yds. 47 (handicap 3), total 89; F. J. Jeune, 41, 45, (scr.), 86; O. W. Horne 40, 37, (8), 85; A. Ford 37, 44, (3), 84. The December aggregate competition was a good one, some consistent performances being registered, and the general standard of marksmanship being high. The best scorers were as under: R. Bull, 300 and 500yds. 93, 6CO and 800yds. 86, (hep. 4), aggregate 183; W. Elhs 84, 86, (13), 183; G. Wootton 88, 80, (13), 181; F. ,T. Jeune 90, 89, (scr.). 179; C. Horne 86, 77, (15), 178; A.
