Apiaries Increase
DECENTLY, Hawke’s Bay, which in the past has been regarded mainly ns a domestic beekeeping area, has shown a truly remarkable expansion so far as commercial beekeeping is concerned. This expansion has actually occurred almost overnight, explained Mr. L. Bicstercr, Government apiary instructor in Hawke’s Bay. Tho main cause of this rapid growth is the establishment in the southern end of the district of no loss than 20 commercial apiaries by the largest commercial apiaries ia the North Island.
