CNGLISH women are growing taller largely because they walk properly. The expert Opinion of a corset manufacturer is that the height is definitely greater than the women of the last generation. “Women to-day are really ‘standing taller,’’’ said one expert, -“flames and exercises are helping them, of course, as well as lighter and more hygienic clothing, but they fire also becoming ‘figure conscious.’ When walking they use the right muscles to support’ the bones, which gives flic slim modern figure.’’ j The modern English girl’s bones are closer to the surface.
