NOTED ENGLISH HORSES
ARRIVAL AT MELBOURNE MELBOURNE, Dec. 21. Three English racehorses worth £30,000 Manitoba, Lizingare, and Medieval Knight—reached Melbourne yesterday by the motor-ship Port Alma. The two last-named participated in the English Derby in 1934, and arc for Mr. Percy Miller, of New South Wales. Manitoba goes to Mr. A. T. Ores wick. Victoria.
NAYLOR CASE AGAIN
AN APPEAL ALLOWED
SYDNEY, Dec. 21
Tlie Full Bench 'of the New South Wales Supreme Court, Mr. Justice Harvey dissenting, allowed the appeal by Rufe Naylor against the Australian Jockey Club and dismissed an appeal by the Australian Jockey Club against Naylor. This means that Naylor now has the right to enter the ltandwidc racecourse from the first day of the next law term.
Mr. Justice Davidson declared that the Jockey Club by-law was too widely expressed, Any person might be heid to be not desirable for personal or any reasons as to which the Jockey Club committee would not be bound to state more than tlnir general opinion as to undesirability.
