THE COMING SESSION
EXPECTED TO BE SHORT
Tho prediction that tho session of Parliament, which it is expected will be opened oil February 13, will be n short one, was made in Christchurch recently by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes. The maip business of tho session, lie said, would provide for legislation m regard to tho National Mortgage Corporation. There' would also be legislation arising out of tho report of the Native Affairs Commission. To a question whether there would be an early election after the session ended. Mr. Forbes shook Ins head and replied “No.” *
