SUCCESSFUL RUN
NEW ZEALAND FILM
VALUABLE PUBLICITY
SYDNEY, Dec. 20. Mr. L. J. Schmitt, the New Zealand Trade Commissioner, has been advised that the publicity film, “Romantic New Zealand,” is having a most successful run in Queensland. It was shown in Brisbane during the Duke’s visit at the St. James’ Theatre for two weeks, the audiences freely applauding and demonstrating enthusiasm.
The theatre management declared that the film had captured the public imagination more than anything else of its kind yet exhibited, and certainly should afford valuable publicity for the Dominion.
The film is now on its way to Bundaberg, Rockhampton, and Townsville, and thence it goes on to Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
