BURNS PROVE FATAL
MAN DIES IN HOSPITAL
(Per Press Association.) ASHBURTON, this day. Thomas Pickering, 79, died in hospital as a result of burns received when his hut was burned on the night of Thursday. December 13. Pickering lay helpless in a shed for two days before Iris discovery by a weekly visitor. He was a single man.
