KAHUTIA CLUB ■ Some interesting games were \vitnessed 011 the Kahutia Bowling Club’s green yesterday afternoon. In the contest for the Executive Fours the team skipped by Rower defeated Roderick’s rink after being nil to 16 on the sixth head, 15 to 16 on the fourteenth head, 17 to 23 on tiie seventeenth head, and 24 to 23 on (112 nineteenth head. Power’s team eventually Avon, 25 to 24. Interesting play ivas seen also in the Champion Pairs match, Downey and Rothwell v. Holt and Walker. After the score ivas 6-all on the fifth head Rothwell ivent ahead to lead 17 to 6 and later 20 to 10 on the fourteenth. Holt and Walker made a good run to lead 21 to 20, but Rothwell won the two succeeding heads and the game ivas his. Details Executive Fours. —Dower, Lynskey, Fisehhach and Power (s) 25 v.
