HIGH PROFITS, LOW WAGES

Dividends running as high as 118 per cent; in textile industries xvere revealed before the Price Spreads Commission, and wages as low as two dollars a week, wi.t-h an average of five dollars 40 cents. 'Mr 'Sam Factor, a Liberal member of the commission, declared that the revelations illustrated the folly of high protection for textiles.
