ENGLISH WOMEN’S TOOfe MISS MACLAGAN’S CENTURY SYDNEY, Dee. 12. In the women’s cricket match at Newcastle to-day, England, in their first innings, lost one wicket for 184 and declared —Miss MncLagan 103 not out, and Miss G. Morgan 78. Newcastle, in the first hidings, lost six for 33. Howling, Miss Hide took three for 10, and Miss MacLagan three for 11.
Rain stopped play and the match was drawn.
LAST BALL DECIDES EXCITING DUNEDIN MATCH The last ball of the match decided the result of the game between McGlashan College and St. Kevin’s College. Oamaru. McGlashan scored 205 and 265 (T. Fraser 107). setting St. Kevin’s, Who scored 121 in the first innings, 350 to make for n win. >Sf. Kevin’s scored 330 (Egtin 77, Kean 05). but alter a groat fight, to make a draw. the. last Wicket was captured with the last ball of the last over. McGlashan winning by 10 runs.
COLLEGE MATCH DRAWN The atmual cricket match between Nelson College and New Plymouth Bovs High School ended in a draw. Now Plymouth made 217 and 1.03 for four wickets, declared (including a splendid 13G bv Donnellv). Nelson made 198 (Du 1% 43. 'Sheri if not blit 22) and 124 for six (Grindle not out 09, Karst on 61, Rnlfe 25).
