The funds of the Gisborne reception committee, which is organising the public welcome to the Duke of Gloucester, were augmented 1 to-day by a donation of £5 from the Poverty Bay Council of the Licensed Trade. As the result of a collision which occurred on the Wnioeka road yesterday, a motor car driven by Mr. J. E. Brosnahan, of Puha, was extensively damaged. The other vehicle involved in the collision was a heavy timber lorry, which did not suffer much damage. Neither of the drivers was injured. : A
