AUSTRALIAN TITLES TO BE PLAYED AT MELBOURNE MELBOURNE, pee, 17. In the mixed' doubles, semi-final, Ilopman and Mrs Hopman defeated Thompson and Miss Hattcrslcy, 6 I, 7—5. The Hopmnns wUI meet Perry and Miss Round in the final at the beginning of the Australian championships in Melbourne next month, the final having been postponed owing to Perry’s visit to Sydney. Play to-day was geiiprally erratic, the nien especially being off their games. . . It is announced definitely that the Australian championships will bo played at Melbourne, even if.all the courts at Kooyong are, unavailable. Entries i’ot the championships closed to-day.

MARIST B Y. MANGAPAPA B The Marist Tennis Club’s B team played the Mangapapa B, team at the Mangapapa courts ,on afternoon, when some interesting games wore witnessed.
