Tlesohitipus of sympathy with the relatives of two members, Messrs. H. Kelso and W. B. Mossman, were passed aj to day’s meeting of file Poverty Bay branch of tlio Farmers' Union. In regard to the late Mr. Kelso, the president, Mr. J. Ji. Benson, referred to the tragic eireumstances surrounding his death; Mr. Kelso was one of Nature’s gentlemen, and all who knew Mr. Kelso would hear him out in that, the speaker added. Mr. J. 0. Field moved the motion in connection, with Mr. Mossman, who, the speaker said, all knew to have done his very best, The resolutions were carried in the usual manner.
