MOTOR DRIVING TESTS
EXAMINERS IN BRITAIN RUSH OF APPLICANTS (Received Dec. 15, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Dec. 14. The Ministry of Transport has received over 15,000 applications, including 2000 from women, for 200 appointments as motor car driving license examiners when the tests for new drivers begin in April. The salaries vary from £217 to £256. The examiners will themselves be specially tested before appointment.
