Boon to the Girls
MR. A. G. Sandoz, technician at Dal- ” housie University, Halifax, claimed on September 19 that he had found what every girl was looking for—a runless silk stocking. Among the pots and pans’ of his wife’s kitchen he has evolved a, solution which, when applied to any textile in the form of a wash or rinse, is supposed to make the fibres stronger and’ more elastic—oven waterproof. Mr. Sandoz is a naturalised British citizen, a native of Switzerland.
