AUCKLAND WOOL SALE ’ * RESULTS ANALYSED (Por Press Association.) AUCKLAND, this day. The average price realised for wool sold at the Auckland sale on November 27 was £7 16s 2|tl a bale, according to the oilieial report of the Woolbrokers’ Association.
In all, 17,659 bales were offered, of which 11.299 were sold for a total sum of £83,250 Is 9d.
The average price per Hi. was 5.623 d. This compares vvilh 4.67 d at the first sale of 19,30, 5,065 d in 1931, 3.686(1 in 1932, and 9.7 d in 1933. The total realisation is much lower than in previous years owing to the amount of wool unsold. The. realisation from the first sale in 1932 wn,s £133,118, and from tho first sale of 1933 it was £327,694.
